MORENO VALLEY, CA In a ribbon cutting event at their primary branch in Moreno Valley today (July 11), Visterra Cooperative credit union presented their brand-new Interactive Teller Machines, in an effort to boost cooperative credit union membership. The ITMs have the
speed and efficiency of a regular ATM with the included convenience of a live, face-to-face teller who will personally assist clients after they enter their account number and position their ID in the designated slot. The live, personal teller will help with banking deals every step of the way.Visterra member Ruthie R. from Moreno Valley calls the process quick and painless; easy innovation and user friendly. Credit union members have the ability to personalize their privacy by speaking normally using
the built-in stereo, using the offered handset, plugging in your very own ear buds, or through the chat function on the screen. We re the first in California with the ITMs, said Karen Ayers, Marketing
Manager at Visterra. We have eight at the primary branch in Moreno Valley; however by 2015, all Visterra branches will have them. In a statement on their website, Visterra Credit Union has taken an interest
in individual safety for both their members and their personnel. All of the tellers will be remote and in a central location, not physically handling cash, creating a frustration to potential robbers. As an additional benefit, Visterra will be extending their drive-up and lobby teller service hours.Janet DuHaime, Sr.
Vice President Chief Operating Officer is delighted to present the new ITMs. They re the finest of both worlds
with innovation to handle the transaction and people to build the relationship. Visterra has cooperative credit union areas across the inland empire with one in Corona, one in Riverside, two in Moreno Valley, and one in Murrieta.
